Is it easy to get a hold of "Homecoming" by Cynthia Voigt in bookstores in Fairbanks Alaska?
I'm looking for "Homecoming" and "Dicey's Song" written by Cynthia Voigt - I live in Denmark but will stay briefly in Fairbanks this summer - Where would it be most likely to find these books in Fairbanks?

Most bookstores will have both of those but there is always the chance that they could be sold out. If you are going to a Barnes & Noble you can go on their website and reserve a book to pick up in the store. It doesn't cost anything and that way you know if the book is there before you go. You just need to know the zip code for the area that you will be staying in. All you do is look up the book on their website and there is a box that says "find & reserve an in-store copy". Type the zip code into the box and it will tell you if a store in that area has the book.

It just means that Croatian/Serbian is floating around in your subconscious mind and only gets a chance to come out when your conscious mind is dormant.
2 :
Croatian is your initial or foundation language so it seems to be predominant when there are no other influences.
3 :
Personally, I think it means you need to learn how to spell better.

How does a pump at a filling/petrol station know, when my car's tank is full

How does a pump at a filling/petrol station know, when my car's tank is full?
I live in Denmark, and now and then when I refuel my car, the pump's at the station automatically stops, when the tank is full, it makes no difference weather my tank is half full or almost empty. What kind of mechanics are in play? - Please be specific, thank you.

vacuum/when the car fills the vac stops and wham pump shuts off

atmospheric pressure is all, when the tank is being filled the vapors rise, and come out the tube that goes from the tank to your carbody. when you are almost full there is only so much room as liquids resist compression, when that pressure reaches a certain point, it stops, now you can press the gas pump a few more times and it will go for a bit and stop, this is what they call topping off, however it is not reccommended. its bassically filling your tank so much that the tube to teh body is filling up, leaving no room for the vapors in the tank, that is bad. and topping off can cause spills, which are bad for the environment. if you look closely at the nozzel and andle you will see a small hole, this is where the pressures are read.
