well i can ask the second part and yes they are exactly the same and do the same things but the ipod touch dosent have text or call features hope this helps :)
2 :
the itouch is by far the best ipod ever, i love mine you can get all of the same apps but some of them wont work as well like if you need gps, i have heard they are cheaper in the states, i live in japan and they are 100 dollers more expensive. if you buy it in the states, all you will need to do is set the language to dutch(is that what you speak??) and you have to set the location to denmark or it will say you are not authorized to dp anyhting from there. by the way, you need an itunes account to buy apps

Good or bad idea to use power converters with an iPad

Good or bad idea to use power converters with an iPad?
I live in Denmark, where we use 230V. I just bought an iPad from USA and therefore got the wrong charger. Can I simply use a power converter along with the US charger, or do I have to get another charger?

on charger read AC input : ------ if 110 don't use this with 220 input if 240 use if 100 - 240 use if you can't read or no info : search the model of your charger in google .
2 :
It would be just as easier to get your proper charger. You likely can get away with a plug adapter though.

I would assume that Apple would've used the same philosophy that they did with their notebooks and computers. The power supplies are autoranging and can use voltage levels between 100V and 250V so all you would need is a plug adapter or to buy different plug sets from Apple as is the case with their Notebooks. I wouldn't even try a power converter, just the travel plug converters. Look at the charger and it should say what range of input voltages it can tolerate. I've used my US MacBook Pro in Sweden and Brazil without a power converter, just a Radio Shack plug converter.

well,

I want to get married in Denmark

I want to get married in Denmark?
Okay, I'm an American, but right now I'm living in Denmark while going to school. I also live with my fiance, who I've been with for 5 years come February 2nd. We plan on getting married in about a year and a half, maybe 2 years, when I turn 24 and when he's done with his school. I know that in Denmark it's not really legal to get married outside, but I'm an atheist and my fiance is a member of a church, but he's not really a believer. I figure we'll need to go to a justice of the peace and get a marriage license, but what all do I need to expect? I would like to go ahead and have an outdoor wedding with a party, even though we'll already technically be "married". Can someone give me some advice? I live in Holbæk, so I'll probably get married around this area.

Dear, You must married that person who is belive on GOD other vis you are doing wrong. Why are you want to marry that person who is a pagan.

Hi there from a Canadian who used to live in DK. I guess you know that Danes like their traditions. Go ahead and have an outdoor event after you have a private legal ceremony. Why not? If you wait and do it in the US, then you can have it any way you like. It's hard to go against the grain in Denmark because everyone expects you to do things like everyone else does. Tillykke!

I've heard about couple (here in Denmark) who had the mayor (or someone from the city council) marry them in a train legally, so it should be possible to get married outside (however not through the church) I found a web page about it, but it's in Danish. If you need translating, you are welcome to write me: http://www.festleksikon.dk/vis/52.html
4 :
Go to Holbaek's city council. they can advise you and get a judge to marry you. not straight away of course but a lot of danes do that if they don't have a religion.

I want to move to denmark

I want to move to denmark?
I'm 18, only just found out I'm expecting. The father is my ex boyfriend who wants me to have an abortion but doesn't seem to understand that I don't think I can go through with it. He says its our only option. I live in England and I'm half way through my AS levels, I'm pretty confident my family will support me whatever I decide to do but if I'm going to keep it, I really don't want to raise a child in England. The crime rates where I live are high and the area is dangerous. I used to live and work in Denmark, so I'd love to try and find a small place there. Does anyone know the cheapest places to live in Denmark? I have a large amount in savings and I want to start again somewhere else for the sake of the child

I don't want to be judgemental as that is not my place, but I do know what it is like to raise children in a country where you are not native, and can only imagine doing this as a single parent. I have two children under 2 and we live in different countries from both sets of in-laws. It is sometimes very hard indeed and miss this support even tough we have friends already made here. e.g. if you work then childcare is very expensive full-time (in every country) and this is where grandparents are a big support. I understand what you mean about concerns about crime rates etc but it is not the same case for the entire country. I would just say to think a little more e.g. have your child in England and first get used to being a parent (along with the challenges that this brings) and getting a routine with your baby along with the support of friends & family. Maybe you can talk to your parents and get some advise from them as you mention they are supportive. Maybe you can move a short distance away (away from the crime hot-spots but close enough to friends/family) If you find after a year of so that you feel the same then look to move at that point Either way I wish you much luck

Denmark is a very good choice. Denmark is safe and there are lots of great places to live in Denmark. Read everything about Denmark and what its like to live there on their official website (its in English via this link): http://borger.dk/forside/om-borgerdk/other-languages/english I've always felt that the people in Denmark welcomes every "newbie" so I'm sure you will have no trouble fitting in and making friends and a new life for you and your child. I can't give any tips on where it would be the cheapest to live though. Knowledge is power so read up on everything you can on Denmark and the site mentioned above is a good place to start.

Denmark is a good place to bring up children . My children are both living in denmark , while I unfortunately have to work in the UK and visit them when I can. Childcare is easy to find in Denmark but not free although it is reasonably priced. The cheapest places to live , it the same in every country. Away from the jobs and the transport centres. Out in the country , houses and rents are quite cheap , you can still buy a small house or a flat for £50,000 . Rents also reflect this . As a foreigner , you are limited in the housing market as this is protected to a certain extent for foreign buyers , ( there are ways round this ) Utilities , power , water etc are very expensive along with cars and anything which includes manual labour. I would recommend the area of south Fyn , Langerland and some of the islands Aero and others which are very cheap and beautiful and some are connected by bridges. I would also agree with what the last person said , - wait a while , do your research . Start to learn the language and let your child get a little older and take your time .
