What are the laws on transporting tobacco from Europe to the USA? I live in Denmark and want to bring a couple packs of cigarettes from here to the USA for a friend who wants them(Certain brands that aren't available to USA citizens). Am I allowed to bring a couple packs of cigarettes on the plane in my bag? Or will they be confiscated?

There is no good tobacco from Europe, at least nothing that should be smoked! LOL It depends on how many is "a couple packs of cigarettes"? 1, 2 , 10, 20, 100?
