Is it their total freedom of expression (sexual, religious, etc.,) their low unemployment rate, their climate, their secular beliefs...what can it be? Name some things they have that we don't have in America & other countries.

Not being American. Americans are too Christian, too stupid and too ignorant to give anything new any kind of chance. Americans fear: Sexuality Different cultures People who are "too" liberal for them etc. Denmark must be happier in comparison due to their free form life style. I'm pretty sure that there are problems there as well, but other countries should take a note from them.

I tend to question that conclusion. If they are so happy then why is the suicide rate so high? Obviously, some of them are too depressed to know how happy they are. http://www.fathersforlife.org/health/who_suicide_rates.htm

Who did the survey? I doubt you can say people are happiest in any one place in the world. Even people who are poor and have little to nothing find happiness. I think "happiness" occurs everywhere in the world and is not expressly prevalent in any one country. People with all the freedom, money, or anything else that drives happiness, seem to be miserable. I think that is a flawed survey.
