Clothes and books is cuite expensive, a good fur will easely cost 1000 euro, but a common jacket will cost 50-200 euro, pending on where u by and if u dont care about the designer. Paperbag books costs about 10 euro. right now its about 12-17 degrees and rain now and then. the Big Mac index is 7euro (with fries and soda)

I live in Denmark; and right now it's raining and only about 12-15 degrees celcius. Things are relatively expensive here, but it's possible to buy a decent jacket for about 60 Euros. Books are about 12 Euros. Food is also rather expensive, but you can keep costs down by going to the super markets. Where will you be staying and for how long?

it's rains all the time in Dk, so you have to have a proper rain coat and some worm cloth as well. Studying material is VERY expensive, could cost you around 30- 60 EUROS. But, you always have an opportunity to by some second hand books (in Internet or school you are going to study in), or , to order them from the library (for 1 month) or to make a copy (it is illegal, but...). Students used to shop at Lidl or Aldi here(not expensive German shops).

Hi! I live in Denmark. The temperature at this season is normally at about 15 degrees celsius, but on t´days where the sun shines, it is nice and pleasant. I don't think it's very cold here, but I guess that depends on what you're used to. The prices also depend on where you're going. I live in Copenhagen, and here are of course, a lot of expensive shops, but you can also find great and not so expensive shops.. If not, there's always H&M, which have reasonable prices. Eating out in COpenhagen can be a little pricy, but again, you can find small and cosy restaurants and cafes that are very cheep, but you'll have to look for them! You also asked about books. Are you referring to normal litteraure or study books? Because the books required for studies or pretty expensive... Living in Denmark does not necessarily have to be expensive... but all in all I'd say that you'll have to bring enough money to cope for a while, and you're looking for a job it is extremely easy to find one (in the bigger cities). If you'd like. you're welcome to email me, and I'll help you out with further questions.. :) If not, I wish you a pleasant stay in Denmark..
